Guillermo Rozenthuler: A charismatic educator and vocalist born in Buenos Aires and based in London since 2004, Guillermo has become one of the leading Circlesinging and Vocal Improvisation facilitators in the UK and Europe. Guillermo works regularly as a voice teacher and vocal leader in different settings, ranging from the corporate to the public health sector. He enjoys engaging singers of all levels and backgrounds and bringing them together to find joy and fulfilment in their singing.He’s been a disciple of Bobby Mc Ferrin and Rhiannon, two of the world’s greatest vocal improvisers and song leaders. His work, informed by forms of tribal music-making across the world and yoga, inspires individuals and groups of people to listen, breathe freely and be fully present. His workshops are an opportunity to experience music-making in the moment and gorgeous spontaneous song. 

Trained as a classical and popular singer, Guillermo has explored diverse ethnic music traditions, which enables him to work with a diversity of styles such as Jazz, Pop, Folk, Latin and musical theatre. Drawing material from disciplines such as the Feldenkrais Method, Yoga and Tai Chi Chuan, he has developed numerous courses on singing, South American rhythms, healing bodywork and breath work. He also teaches Latin and Folk Spanish guitar.Guillermo has worked for 15 years as a voice coach for individuals and groups, musicians and non-musicians, and for clients in the private and voluntary sectors. His workshops and individual lessons have shaped a generation of singers in Buenos Aires. As part of corporate development programmes, Guillermo’s workshops are tailored to improve wellbeing and creativity in the workplace. His workshops for young people encourage creativity and cooperation.He has have done extensive work in the ‘interface’ between singing and well-being, working privately with 3 amateur singing groups targeted for ‘non-singers’, combining world music songs with gentle yoga, with the aim to improve breathing, balance, physical openness and co-ordination. Guillermo worked for more than 10 years with Live Music Now in hospices, homes for the elderly, etc, and through them led groups singing sessions for the Harrow Community Choir and Choir with No Name (both with members suffering  from mental health issues). He’s currently working for BAHR Breathe Arts and Health Research, providing live music in hospitals and dialysis centres, and I have suggested to them implementing singing workshops. Also facilitating weekly sessions for two South London Sing For Better Breathing Breathe Easy choirs since 2015 targeted for COPD patients , and weekly singing sessions for Jewish Care Careline Living Well team- working with elderly residents who are Alzheimer and dementia sufferers. As a performer he has worked extensively in the mainstream jazz scene and within the corporate entertainment industry, at nation-wide festivals, touring in Brazil and Uruguay. Recognised in Buenos Aires as one of the key vocalists and improvisers of the Latin jazz scene, Guillermo has also performed Argentinian Tango and folk music. His repertoire includes hundreds of songs covering a wide spectrum of styles from every corner of Latin America.
